90s Tech Stack — Retro Technology & Nostalgia Collage Overshirt

The 90s Tech Stack is a hand-collaged overshirt built from every device, gadget, and piece of hardware you needed to survive the decade before one smug smartphone replaced all of it. Consoles, CD players, brick phones, pagers, digital diaries, and the full catalogue of specialised technology that felt like the future and now looks like archaeology. Crisp line-art over a retro pastel wash — clean and considered from across the room, hilariously specific up close. Looks like a design choice. Is a design choice, and also a eulogy.

This one is for people who feel a very particular kind of nostalgia — not vague retro sentiment, but the specific memory of owning and loving individual objects that no longer exist. Every piece of hardware in the design was chosen because someone, somewhere, had that exact one and remembers exactly what it felt like to use it. That's the reaction this shirt produces reliably: someone leans in, points at something in the composition, and says "mate, I had that exact one." Then someone else finds something different and says the same thing. The references are dense enough that two people wearing it would find different things to talk about.

Throw it over a plain tee and wear it open. The 90s Tech Stack does the rest — it's the humour layer for anyone who misses the era when technology required commitment, came with a manual, and needed its own dedicated shelf.

Hand-collaged. Not prompted. Made to order.

How To Wear It

A Collage Overshirt is a layer, not a shirt replacement. You throw it on open, over a plain tee — not buttoned up instead of one.

Plain tee → throw it on open → done. That's the whole idea, and once it clicks, everything else about the product makes sense.

Dense, busy patterns don't want to be buttoned shut — they need room to actually be seen. Close it up and you're wearing a very busy shirt, not an overshirt. Worn open, it reads as a layer. Buttoned to the top, it reads like a kid dressed by his mum.

Pair it with whatever you're already wearing — jeans, chinos, shorts, doesn't matter. The overshirt does the work. You don't have to try.
